What is Diwali or Deepavali? It is an ancient 5 days Hindu festival of light celebrated in the month of October or November depends on the Hindu lunar calendar, the word Diwali means rows of lighted lamps, it is taken from the Sanskrit word Dīpāvalī (दीपावली) which means rows of light or spreading of light.
